RocketPay Lucky Draw — Terms & Conditions
These rules apply to every RocketPay Lucky Draw, regardless of the month or prize. Month-specific details (prizes, number of winners and other details) are published separately for each draw.
Eligibility
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Participants must hold an active, verified RocketPay account.

In the month for which the Lucky Draw is announced, Participants must make at least one purchase of any plan offered by RocketPay.
For example, if the Lucky Draw is announced for August 2026, with the draw scheduled on 1st September 2026, then a RocketPay user who wishes to participate must purchase any one plan between 1st August 2026 to 31st August 2026.
- RocketPay employees, directors, affiliated entities, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Participation will not be accepted from such States or Union Territories where lucky draw schemes or any schemes of a similar nature are prohibited or become prohibited at the time when a Lucky Draw is announced by RocketPay. If any Participant:
- is a resident of such a State or Union Territory or,
- enters the Lucky Draw while being situated in such a State or Union Territory,
RocketPay will cancel their participation even if the draw has already been conducted and they have won a prize in the same. In the event of such a cancellation, RocketPay reserves the right to redraw the lots for the prize won by the Participant whose participation was thus cancelled.
- In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the preceding sub-clause, participation will not be accepted from the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry. (Under Section 3 read with Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes Prohibition Act, 1979, lucky draw schemes are prohibited in the State of Tamil Nadu.)
- All RocketPay users who otherwise meet the eligibility criteria shall have an equal opportunity to participate, regardless of the quantum, value or frequency of their purchase.
Your Lucky Draw ID
Every participant is assigned a unique Lucky Draw ID to avoid confusion when multiple participants share the same name. The Lucky Draw ID is a randomly generated number. The month-specific rules will specify the number of digits that the Lucky Draw ID will contain.
Your Lucky Draw ID is printed on your chit for the draw and used in all winner communications.
How the Draw Works
- All eligible participants' Lucky Draw IDs are printed/handwritten on individual chits.
- The chits are placed in a transparent bowl or equivalent vessel, visible to all viewers.
- A neutral party randomly picks n chits (n is stated in the month-specific rules).
- The draw is conducted live on the RocketPay YouTube Channel so anyone can watch in real time.
This process is designed to be random, unbiased, and fully transparent.
Winner Announcement, Consent and Privacy
- Winners are announced live on the RocketPay YouTube Channel on or before the 7th working day of the month following the draw.
- Winners are identified by their Lucky Draw ID, name, and city during the live announcement.
- Post-announcement, RocketPay will contact winners via their registered mobile number or email within 7 working days.
- With regard to the collection and dissemination of the personal details of the winners (i.e., name and city), RocketPay undertakes to comply with the requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Rules framed thereunder (as amended from time to time).

Winners will be required to give their consent to RocketPay publicly announcing their name, city and Lucky Draw ID on YouTube, social media platforms and in-app communications. In the request for consent sent to winners via email, RocketPay will clearly specify:
- Personal details which will be publicly announced;
- Names of the social media platforms and other channels and forums on which the public announcement will be made;
- Other purposes for which the personal details will be used;
- The manner in which the winner may withdraw their consent and request the erasure of their personal details.
- When a winner makes a request for erasure of their personal details, RocketPay will either delete all public announcements featuring the personal details of the winner or edit such announcements to remove references to the personal details of the winner.
Unreachable Winners
- If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days of the live announcement, RocketPay reserves the right to redraw for that prize slot.
- It is the participant's responsibility to ensure their registered contact details are current.
Taxes & Compliance
- Prizes exceeding ₹10,000 in value are subject to Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) at 30% under Section 393(3) of the Income Tax Act, 2025. Additionally, Section 3(16) of the Finance Act, 2026 levies a surcharge called ‘Health and Education Cess’ at the rate of 4% of the TDS deducted. Thus, the effective rate of deduction from the prize would be 31.2% [30% + (4% of 30%)]. RocketPay is obliged to deduct this effective tax amount before delivering the prize. (The current TDS rate (30%) for winnings from lotteries is laid down in Part II of the First Schedule of the Finance Act, 2026.)

If the prize exceeds ₹10,000 in value and:
- is in the form of cash, RocketPay will deduct the effective tax amount before paying the winner; or
- is in the form of any benefit other than cash, then the winner will be required to deposit the effective tax amount (which will be specified via an email communication to the winner) by RocketPay before claiming the prize.
- Winners must furnish a valid PAN card to RocketPay within 7 days of being contacted. Failure to provide a PAN may result in TDS being deducted at a higher rate as prescribed by law, or delay in prize delivery.
- Any additional taxes, surcharges, duties, or incidental charges beyond TDS are solely the winner's responsibility.
Prize Fulfilment
- Approximate retail value of the prizes in each Lucky Draw will be announced in the respective month-specific rules.
- Prizes are dispatched or arranged within 90 days of the winner announcement date.
- For travel or experience prizes, logistics will be coordinated with the winner. RocketPay will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the winner's availability within the prize window stated in the month-specific rules.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit.
International Travel Prizes — Additional Terms
The following applies where the prize involves international travel.
- Visa: All visa applications, associated costs, and outcomes are solely the winner's responsibility. RocketPay bears no responsibility for visa approval or rejection.
- Passport: It is the winner's responsibility to hold a valid passport with sufficient validity (typically at least 6 months from the date of travel). RocketPay bears no responsibility if the winner is unable to travel due to an expired, invalid, or unavailable passport.
- Travel itinerary: RocketPay reserves the right to determine the travel dates, flight carrier, routing, and hotel accommodations. These details will be communicated to the winner in advance and are subject to availability.
- Missed travel: If the winner misses their flight, hotel check-in, or any other component of the travel prize on the decided dates — for any reason — RocketPay bears no responsibility and will not arrange replacements, reschedule, or provide any alternate arrangement or compensation.
- Health & medical: The winner is solely responsible for their own health, fitness to travel, and any medical requirements or emergencies that arise during the trip. RocketPay strongly recommends obtaining adequate travel and health insurance prior to travel.
- Legal conduct: The winner is expected to comply with all applicable laws of the destination country at all times. RocketPay bears no responsibility or liability for any consequences arising from the winner's involvement in any unlawful activity during the trip.
- Force majeure: RocketPay shall not be liable for any failure or delay in delivering the travel prize due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, airline cancellations, or government travel advisories.
Disqualification
RocketPay reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
- Is below 18 years of age
- Provides false or inaccurate account information
- Is an employee, director or affiliate of RocketPay or an immediate family member of such employee, director or affiliate
- Is a resident of a State or Union Territory in which lucky draws or other schemes of a similar nature are prohibited or become prohibited at the time of the announcement of the Lucky Draw
- Was, at the time of registering for the Lucky Draw, situated in such a State or Union Territory as aforesaid
- Attempts to manipulate or game the eligibility criteria
- Violates RocketPay's Terms of Service
- Fails to furnish a valid PAN card when required
General
- RocketPay's decision on all matters related to the Lucky Draw is final and binding, subject to applicable law.

RocketPay reserves the right to modify or suspend any Lucky Draw. Further, RocketPay reserves the right to cancel any Lucky Draw on account of:
- Fraud committed by a Participant;
- Change in applicable laws which render the conduct of the Lucky Draw unlawful or impracticable; or
- any factor beyond the reasonable control of RocketPay leading to operational impossibility in conducting the Lucky Draw.
- Where operationally feasible, a minimum notice of 48 hours will be provided before cancellation or material changes.
- Participation in the Lucky Draw constitutes full acceptance of these General Rules and the applicable month-specific rules.
- The month-specific rules will contain a summary of these General Rules in plain language and will highlight any changes made thereto.
- These rules and the conduct of the Lucky Draw shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru.
